YouTube's Forgotten Weapons examines and tests out the Colt R75A BAR Rifle.
The Browning Automatic Rifle, invented during World War I, saw very little action in that conflict. That all changed during World War II, when this great weapon was heavily utilized by the U.S. Military.
The last commercial version of the BAR series was the Colt R75A BAR Rifle. With vast improvements over its predecessors, this fully automatic rifle is easy to fire and control. Ian, the guy in the video, fired off bursts from this historical weapon and looked quite fond of it, too.
It's cool that there are videos sharing the details of this incredible weapon. It looks like an incredibly fun weapon to fire, and seriously potent to boot.
