The ammunition manufacturing juggernaut took home some hardware after the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation annual meeting.
Headquartered in Grand Island, Nebraska, Hornady Manufacturing Company has been really successful at making ammunition for a really long time. That's because they make some of the best products out there.
For that reason, the family-owned business was named the 2018 Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation's Business of the Year.

Hornady accepted the honor in early May at the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation annual meeting.
Everywhere you look in the outdoor industry, Hornady always seems to find its place. Year in and year out, they lead the ammunition market in quality and innovation.
"What we do here is make bullets and ammunition," Steve Hornady said in an interview with the Grand Island Independent. "That is what we do—period—and we are very good at it."
