Savage had all eyes on them at this years NRA Annual Meeting when they unveiled their new line of weaponry.
If you attended the NRA Show this year in Dallas, you probably saw a steady crowd at the Savage Arms booth. Savage has added eye catching competition rifles to their MSR lineup, and they're well worth a look.
Lots of folks were curious about what was to come with the announcement from Vista Outdoors' new business plan, but these new gun debuts made a bold statement that they weren't going anywhere.
MSR 15 Competition
MSR 15 Competition Features:

Both rifles feature an 18-inch carbon fiber-wrapped stainless barrel. The barrel has a unique ported muzzle brake that lets you tune the recoil impulse. Savage says this helps stabilizes the muzzle for faster, more accurate follow-ups.
The MSR 15 Competition is available in .223 Rem and .224 Valkyrie. The MSR 15 Competition has an overall length of 35.38-38.63 inches and weighs 7.90 pounds.
The MSR 10 Competition HD comes in .308 Win. It has an overall length of 36.13-39.38 inches and weighs 9.05 pounds.
Both rifles also feature a two-stage trigger, with the first stage set at 2.5 pounds with the second stage set at 4 pounds.
MSRP on the MSR 15 Competition is $2,875 while the MSRP on the MSR 10 Competition HD is $3,449.
