Watch this guy nail tarpon with a pink spinning setup!
In an effort to support breast cancer awareness and land some huge fish during the mullet run, this guy invests in a pink, light-up fishing pole.
Did you see how he tired the tarpon out? He used his 8-foot fishing rod to pull the fish back and forth in the water until it was tired. Note that you'll need a longer pole to achieve this effect and still keep the fish hooked.
That guy almost lost that big tarpon numerous times. The hook was set just right and it never managed to break off the line. Yet he managed to hang on to the fish and snap a quick pic before releasing it back into the water. Even when fishing with a pink, light-up fishing pole, you should never judge a book by it's cover.
