When a fishing trawler smashes into a pier, you expect some commentary. Usually, local news outlets take care of that.
When it happened over the weekend in Devon, a town in southwest England, a drunken man decided to make a video and offer his take on the incident.
Lewis Huddy broadcasted on Facebook Live at Plymouth's Mount Batten Pier.
As Huddy and his mates were walking by the pier, a 70-foot-long fishing trawler smashed into it. Naturally he pulled out his phone and started covering the event.
He readily admits he was "a few rums down," which makes the commentary much more entertaining.
"What are you up to?" he wonders loudly. "There's no fish here, mate!"
Officials are still wondering what the captain and crew of the fishing trawler were up to, but at least everyone was safe after the crash. While there is still an ongoing investigation, the trawler floated with no apparent damage when the tide rose Sunday morning.
