Here's a cool comparison showcasing recoil, sound, and smoke.
Courtney Sweetser Smith is an avid hunter who we've proudly featured on Wide Open Spaces in the past. Her latest video posted to her YouTube channel gives us an insightful glimpse into the differences between suppressed and unsuppressed muzzleloaders, by using the SilencerCo Maxim 50 as the guinea pig.
What we love about this video is the fact that Courtney provides both regular speed and slow-motion footage, which perfectly highlights recoil, sound, and smoke. There's no better way to get a feel for each, and the dramatic difference between the two, without actually being there and shooting them yourself.
Think the SilencerCo Maxim 50 will be noticeably different from the standard unsuppressed muzzleloader? Watch and find out:
Quite the difference, right? We're definitely sold on the advantages of the SilencerCo Maxim 50 after watching this tutorial.
