Goats love to be busy! They're like toddlers who need to be entertained all day until it's time for bed — and if you're new to goat life, there are a few things you'll want to do to create an area that will harbor a happy and active animal. Make sure you have a fence that is at least four feet high (although to be on the safe side, you might want to go up to six feet). Keep an area in their play pen that has adequate shelter from the rain, and have lots of space for them to climb and play. Like many farm animals, goats do get bored — and they need adequate sources of entertainment for a happy farm life. Since goat toys are not necessarily on Target shelves, you'll need to improvise. Luckily, DIY goat toys are easy to make yourself and will provide days worth of fun for your goats. Here are 10 of the best goat toys for keeping goats busy.

Fun Finds for a DIY Goat Playground

Goats are also big fans of wooden spools and old tires — so if your farm life needs a bit more excitement, you should go all out for your goats and give them the best goat playground. Keeping goats active will soon be one of your favorite farm life chores: we bet you could watch a goat go down a slide all day.
