When horses behave badly, their owners' patience is tested. There are only so many times that a horse can destroy a new blanket, unlock a gate, roll in the biggest mud puddle, or get into trouble before you have to take desperate measures.
And that means getting a sign, describing your horse's naughty habits, and taking a photo to share with the world (also known as horse shaming).

Even though they can wear our patience thin and empty our wallets, in the end, they're totally worth it. Because who else will listen to you without ever saying a word in response, and who else can build your confidence and strength instantly?
Horses are so patient with us (most of the time), and many would do anything that we asked of them (except if it involves walking through water, collecting, working on the bit, crossing bridges, or going by that scary tarp).
In riding, sometimes you just have to laugh. And then remind yourself why you love this crazy sport, and how you could never live without it.
