Fred Eichler arrowed this moose cow on public land in Colorado last year. You won't believe how fast it went down after the shot!
Though archery hunts aren't often known for producing a bunch of fast or spectacular takedowns, they do happen. Fred Eichler proved that point yet again when he arrowed a good sized moose cow on a public land hunt in Colorado in 2016. She didn't even stay on her feet for 20 seconds after taking that hit.
Watch the video to see how just how fast that cow moose went down:
Was that impressive or what? I could have done without his celebration dance afterwards, but the reaction to that shot from the moose was still amazing to see.
That just goes to show how great things can go when hunting gigantic animals when you are using high quality gear and make a good shot. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true, so make sure you shoot straight!
Nice work, Fred!
