As hard as it is to find a low-mileage Jeep Wrangler, finding one with that is unmodified is a true unicorn.
The Jeep Wrangler is such a great off-road vehicle not only because of its ability to handle abuse, but also for its ability to do so for many, many years. Looking at used-car ads backs this up with 100,000+-mile modified Wranglers almost commonplace. That is quite the opposite with this 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited listed by Gateway Classic Cars of Denver.

With the exception of some chrome light covers and grille cover, this Wrangler is completely bone-stock, and it has just 5,123 miles on the odometer! Even with such low miles, this Wrangler has still seen some off-road action as evident by small amount of dirt underneath and the dent to the front skid plate, but you're going to have to work extremely hard to find a TJ-generation Wrangler in better shape than this one.
The TJ went on sale for the 1997 model year replacing the square-headlight YJ Wrangler, and it was sold until the 2006 model year when it was replaced by the JK Wrangler. One of the more important introductions that this generation of Wrangler introduced was the Wrangler Unlimited (also called the LJ), which sold from 2004 through 2006.
Unlike the four-door JK Unlimited, the LJ was just a two door, but it had a stretched wheelbase making it the first long-wheelbase Wrangler since the CJ8 Scrambler. Sure, you could buy a brand-new Jeep Wrangler JL for the price that this 13-year-old LJ is currently listed for ($27,995), but there is still something to be said for these earlier Wranglers especially as the newer ones flood the market.
We're sure a true Jeep enthusiast will grab this one up before too long.
