This is shaping up to be a big year for domestic pickup trucks, and RAM ups the ante once again.
Just days after introducing the all-new 2019 RAM 1500 in Detroit, RAM unveiled a plusher version of its new truck in Texas.
The 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition debuted at the Houston Auto Show revealing the next generation of luxury pickup trucks - a trend that is only getting more popular. The Laramie Longhorn Edition is a luxurious complement to the Limited trim level, and it adds more visual impact inside and out.
On the outside, the 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition brings back the RAM's two-tone paint job, and it also comes with all the bells and whistles like standard LED headlights and taillights, chrome running boards and a unique billet grille. Standard 20-inch wheels finish off the look, while available 22-inch wheels give the truck an even more luxurious appearance.
Inside of the Laramie Longhorn Edition is where the magic really happens with plenty of full-grain leather accented by rich wood and metal trims. There are fine details like the signature belt buckle latches and embossed alligator skin pattern as well as all of the comfort and convenience features you expect from a luxury vehicle.
This even includes heated rear seats with class-exclusive rear seat ventilation available as an option.
RAM has not announced pricing for the 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition or any of the all-new trucks, but expect this version to have a starting price higher than the current Laramie Longhorn, which starts at $50,095.
