What do you do when a 100-foot hickory tree lands on your truck and you're miles from anywhere? Easy, cut the excess off and drive home.
When a couple goes camping in the North Cascade Mountains and a storm moves in, not only does their day take a turn for the worse. So does everyone else's.
While on a hike, they watch a storm move in and knock down trees in numerous places, including on top of their Toyota 4Runner.
After hiking out to find help, they end up assisting others in clearing the main road and ultimately getting their own vehicle out.
While I would not want to be in the position of having my truck crushed by a tree, how cool of a story do they have now?!
I'm not sure words will help make this video anymore cool than it is, but if you need more you can read the entire story, as told by the couple, at this link.
