How tough is a bowling ball, really?

The question was posted to FullMag: "What would happen if you fired a .50 BMG bullet into a bowling ball finger hole?" Well, he certainly was up for that challenge.
Well there are not many barriers that hold up well against the mighty .50 BMG bullet. This bowling ball certainly is not rated at stopping a bullet of that epic proportions. As this video proves a bowling ball is no match for the .50 BMG bullet.
