Buy a new car and get a new Glock at this New Hampshire car dealership.
In the latest of a recent trend of firearm promotions, a New Hampshire car dealership is offering up a new Glock 19 handgun with purchase of a new vehicle.
The promotion runs through the end of the month at Hagan's Motor Pool in Rochester and is the second firearm giveaway the dealership has offered. The dealership also made big headlines with their last giveaway, that one for an AR-15, last June.
Just like their last promotion, the handguns are not actually kept at the dealership and are only available with the purchase of specially-marked cars. Anyone who purchases an eligible car in the promotion will have to first pass a background check at Renaissance Firearms in Barrington before they are allowed to take possession of the firearm.
This giveaway is slightly different from the dealership's first because it will only be available to those 21 and older, as per New Hampshire state laws for acquiring a handgun. Hagans owner and Army Veteran Mike Hagan and his wife Amie are fans of one of Glock's most popular models in the 19.
That's why they decided to go with it for this new promotion. "We thought it would be a fun gun to provide," Amie told Fosters.com.
The previous sale last summer proved to be quite popular and about 20 AR-15s were given away. They are hoping to give away around 15 Glocks.
Firearms giveaways are becoming a more popular way to hold a promotion around the country. An Ohio police department helped raise funds for a new K-9 dog with a firearms raffle back in October.
And in Texas, a rifle or shotgun giveaway has become an extremely popular annual sale in Lubbock.
