There is something just magical about fishing a western river; from the classic novels such as A River Runs Through It and Other Stories by Norman Maclean, not too mention the movie that gave the fly fishing industry a huge boost, the west provides an iconic location and background that every angler dreams about.
There is spectacular trout fishing opportunities in the east for anglers but at some point we all hear the call of the west and at sometime have to make the journey. If the journey is to be made you would be hard pressed to find better trout rivers than in Colorado.
