On a snowy night in Poland, a wolf attack on a herd of bison was captured on video.
While most domestic animals easily fall victim to a wolf attack, these bison were having none of it!
The camera, triggered by motion sensor catches several wolves quickly running into camera view.
At the same time, you see the bison go on full alert and scatter. This is what wolves want. They attempt to single out one animal from the safety of the herd.
The attack then quickly falls apart. After the initial panic, many of the mature bison stand their ground as if they're daring the wolves to come after 'em. You even catch one running from the left of the screen charging a wolf.

Once a couple of the mature animals from the herd took a stand against the wolves, the rest followed. We could use more of this spunk in our deer and elk herds!
With that said, it's interesting to see the difference in attack methods between wolves, as seen in this video, and big cats like captured on trail camera here.
