Ever Been in a Traffic Jam This Bad?

You don't see this kind of traffic stop everyday, caused by a pride of lions but it can be commonplace when on safari in South Africa.

This is the kind of sight you can take in at Kruger National Park in South Africa, and what a photo-op it is; just keep your arms and other edible parts well inside the vehicle.

This particular jam was caused when this pride had just taken down a cape buffalo, and the lions were in the process of some much needed R&R after a big feed. It was a great opportunity to see these magnificent animals up close to the delight of visiting tourists and safari guides.

Just one more reason to make the trip of a lifetime to see the sights and sounds of Africa; it is often cheaper than people think.
