Reporter Runs Over Deer During Live Weather Report Broadcast

This reporter's live weather report took an unexpected turn!

It's almost a cliche these days. When there's a big storm on the horizon, there's a reporter making a live report from the field or on the roads in advance of the storm's arrival.

But one such live report took an unexpected turn in Williamson, Colorado. Dave Davis' weather report goes mostly as expected, until right near the end...

Deer like to get up and move in advance of an approaching storm. Now this reporter knows that, although this is a hard way to learn it.
That certainly made for a more interesting than normal weather report. The deer died in the collision, but fortunately the human occupants of the vehicle were fine.

This is why I didn't get into broadcast journalism. If something goes wrong in a broadcast, you end up a viral video plastered all over the internet!
