This is what getting a child hooked on fishing is all about.
Most of us remember our first fish. Watching with fascination as the bobber goes under, that tell-tale tug on the line, and a wriggling fish that instantly made us holler with pure and unadulterated joy and excitement. The simplicity of it all is what makes fishing so great.
Jefferson and Kassi Talbot's daughter, Liv, recently caught her very first fish in Hot Springs, and as you're about to see, it's pretty stinkin' cute - more so because she hauled it in with a pink Barbie rod and reel. And because this line she shouted will surely melt your heart:
"Oh my gosh! Daddy. I actually caught a fish!" Oh my gosh!"
Now that's what fishing is all about.
Start them young and get a child hooked on fishing. There truly are no better memories to be made.
