This turkey literally explodes after a shotgun blast from Pigman.
Full strut, facing the blind, and standing smack dab in the middle of the decoys. A recipe for disaster for this Oklahoma tom turkey and a recipe for success for Pigman. The turkey doesn't stand a chance and after the trigger is pulled the feathers fly, literally exploding from the turkey's chest as if a stick of dynamite had been hidden behind those beautiful feathers.
Looks like the Hornady turkey loads can do their job.
The shot made quick work of this big Oklahoma bird, but there might not be any breast meat left to eat. That is what we like to call a no-doubter in the turkey woods.
Does a strutting tom getting dropped in slow motion ever get old? That would be a no.
