A whitetail deer playing dead surprises local Oklahoma teens in hilarious fashion.
Always make sure it's dead first! A group of Oklahoma teenagers thought after the deer ran into their car that it was dead. Come to find out, the deer playing dead was more than likely just stunned from the impact.
Nevertheless, no one should get too close if they are not 100% certain the animal is dead.
Here's why.
It's a good thing the deer in the footage isn't a buck. If it had been there's no telling what kind of injuries it may have caused the unknowing teens.
"And then all of a sudden it just jumped up and scared us all," Amber Crabtree said.
If you look closely you can tell the deer's eyes are moving. The deer was probably unconscious for a second and then came to.
The girls learned a good lesson, luckily no one was injured.
"Don't check on the deer after you hit it and make sure it's really dead before you start playing with it," Emily Coffman said.
