Just in time for deer season, Federal Ammunition has announced the launch of a new line of rifle loads designed specifically for those that chase whitetail. Creatively named 'Non-Typical,' the lineup includes 13 popular hunting cartridges and bullet weight options.
According to the July 24 press release, the new Non-Typical "uses an optimized soft-point bullet with a concentric jacket to provide tag-punching accuracy and consistent, lethal wound channels on any whitetail, mule deer or other species."
* Also included in the lineup is a 6.5 Creedmoor 140-grain soft point.
