Check Out the ‘Super Test’ Range Drill and See if it’s for You

The 'Super Test' drill is 10 shots each at 15, 10, and 5 yards, using the same number of seconds on the clock as the yardage. Here's what it looks like.

Facebook user Ernest Langdon has shared with us a nice video he calls the 'Super Test' drill. It uses the same amount of time, in seconds, as the target is away in yardage. In other words, he shoots 10 rounds at a 15-yard target in 15 seconds, 10 rounds at 10 yards in 10 seconds, and so on.

Here's a great drill to add to your range instruction:

Langdon gives credit to Wayne Dobbs and Darryl Bolke at HITS Training for coming up with this training regimen.

Better yet he performed the drill using what he called 'advanced mode' by using his holstered PX4 Full Beretta. He was happy with a score of 291, but his best is 298 out of 300 which is some excellent shooting.

This is a simple and effective way to work on getting your hands quick while at the safety of the gun range and find out what you need to do to make your shooting more fun while testing your skill.
