Not one, not two, but THREE albino bucks were hanging out in one group.
By now, many of us have seen the awesome pictures of an albino animal or two. Albinism in deer, like many animals, is extremely rare. Biologists suggest the odds of an albino deer being born are about 1 in 20,000. Thanks to a recessive gene, albino deer are born with solid white coats. It's a beautiful yet mysterious sight to behold.
A bachelor group of bucks with more than one albino deer among them, however, is an unthinkably rare sight. Check out the cool video posted to Facebook by The National Outdoor Association below.
The velvet bucks are cruising the edge of a bean and corn field, grabbing a quick snack as they work through to their bedding area. The ghostly creatures are almost mythical with their bright white coats. Due to how well they stand out from their surroundings, albino deer also tend to have a much lower survival rate than their traditional colored counterparts.
