This fishing tip had a very painful conclusion.
We've been sharing the videos of YouTuber Jon B and Lunkers TV's epic African fishing trip for a few weeks now.
The two fishermen went all the way to the other side of the world looking mainly for giant trevally, but managed to catch quite a few other surprises along the way. But nothing they did on the trip compares to what happened on the final day when Rob hooks into a huge marlin!
Those are some spectacular shots of the marlin breaching the surface. As soon as the marlin hit, their plans for a large part of the day just kind of went out the window and understandably so, considering they had a three-hour fight with this fish! I can't even imagine the pain of fighting something that big for so long only to lose it.
It is really a shame Rob lost this fish, but that's fishing. That would have been one heck of a way for them to cap off their trip to Africa! But still, it looks like they had an amazing time and that's what it's all about in the end, right?
