Jason Matzinger narrates a beautiful short film on mule deer fawns. The film is the fourth in the Project Mule Deer series presented by the Mule Deer Foundation.
Matzinger's soothing voice, gorgeous visuals, and warm music combine to make this a very pleasing video, perfect for its subject matter.
The video reminds me in some ways of Marty Stouffer's early wildlife films. It's almost poetic in its presentation.
Matzinger writes in the footnote to the video:

Matzinger makes special mention of the nutritional needs of mule deer does and fawns, and what they require from their environment to survive and remain viable.
He connects the game animal directly to the land it inhabits, making a subtle though strong case for healthy and robust environments that necessarily benefit all wildlife species.
This emphasizes that organizations that focus on a particular species - such as the Mule Deer Foundation - are truly conservation organizations, as they must be mindful of the health of the total environment and many other species in addition to their focus species.
This, of course, gives credence to the truism that hunters are the world's greatest conservationists.
