A woman walked up to a mama bear with two cubs trying to get a selfie with them while carrying her child.
The mama bear didn't charge at the woman and her child, but the police say that it could have been life threatening.
A video of a mother bear and her two cubs climbing down a tree in the middle of downtown Aspen, Colorado recently went viral.
Aspen Police stated, "A fairly large crowd of photo-takers and those that insisted on trying to get close enough to take selfies. The mother bear returned to the mall, very agitated and making loud crying sounds. People were still walking right up to her, even when it was clear she was agitated and growling as people got close."
In the 21st century, everyone is willing to risk their life trying to get the "coolest" video footage and selfies. As hunters, we see some awesome scenes while enjoying the outdoors. However, it is obviously not the best idea to get close to an animal that can eat you, simply so that you can snap pictures with it.
Be careful and smart while out in the field. Just saying....
