Aggressive piranhas love artificial lures!
You may recall a few months back when Lake Fork Guy went on an epic fishing trip to the Amazon targeting peacock bass. Now he's bringing us an extra video from that trip where he targeted the legendary piranha with artificial lures.
It actually looks like a lot of fun. Stick around near the end for a bonus peacock bass and some trading with locals.
The aggressiveness seen here definitely seems to live up to the piranha's fearsome reputation. They aren't large, but they definitely look like they can fight.
Really, a fishing trip to the Amazon wouldn't be complete without catching a few piranhas, now would it?
