Vintage army instructional videos are the best.
In this case, the iconic M2 Carbine is given a thorough explanation.
Take a step back in time with this U.S. Army footage about a world famous gun.
Vintage U.S. Army instructional videos are a treasure trove of information, and this one teaches us all about the then-new M2 Carbine.
The M2 Carbine was very similar to its M1 Carbine sibling. The main differences were a select fire capability and an extended 30-round detachable magazine that fed the little beast. Small and lightweight, the carbine could lay down a lot of short to medium range .30 carbine caliber suppressing fire.
While not as hard hitting as a larger caliber rifle, this little carbine has seen a lot of action all over the globe for decades.
