This cougar knows it's the baddest thing in the neighborhood.
For those that may not know, Windsor is in Ontario, Canada, just on the other side of the river from to Detroit, Michigan. Michigan doesn't recognize a cougar population, despite the reported sightings, but Ontario does. What's interesting about this cougar sighting is Ontario doesn't report a population of these big cats that far south. So, what in the world did residents in a Windsor neighborhood capture on surveillance cameras walking down their sidewalk in the middle of the night?
Here are two clips from different neighbors capturing this big cat at completely different times on the same night.
Then, here's a neighbor's footage from down the street.
How crazy is that? I'm not exactly sure how I'd feel looking at surveillance footage in the morning of a predator like that just chilling in my front yard the night before.
No one knows the current whereabouts of this cougar. With the Detroit river is currently frozen over in some parts, it's possible this cougar continued on and is now visiting Michigan.
However, you have to think, where there's one, there's probably more.
