The Slow Mo Guys put it to the test in their classic, slow-motion fashion.
We've seen it in Hollywood blockbusters and have certainly wondered whether it's at all feasible. Lucky for us, The Slow Mo Guys gave it a shot, and the footage is pretty stellar.
Using some high-tech camera gear in a controlled environment, they give us an intimate glimpse into what happens when a bullet meets steel. The results might surprise you.
How cool was that?!
The way the ax blade wobbled once the bullet made contact was certainly an eye-opener. Who would have thought, right?
However, we definitely don't recommend attempting to deflect an oncoming bullet with a bladed object as a means of self-protection.
