Clay entered a movie into a film festival in addition to meeting some other big names in the outdoor industry.
Bear Hunting Magazine Editor Clay Newcomb loves hunting bears, particularly on public land. For that reason, he carved some time out of his busy schedule to attend the 2018 Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Rendezvous in Boise, Idaho.
Not only did he enter a video about his public-land traditional archery bear hunts in Arkansas and Oklahoma in their film festival, but he also got to see some other big names in the outdoor industry while he was there.
Watch the video to see how the rendezvous went!
That looks like a lot of fun! Looks like I need to attend the 2019 Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Rendezvous!
If you enjoy recreating on federally managed public land, then I highly recommend joining Backcountry Hunters & Anglers because they do some great work to help preserve out outdoor heritage so future generations of Americans can continue to hunt and fish on public land.
