Colorado Game Wardens Are Looking for Leads on Man Caught Harassing a Moose

Harassing a moose is illegal in Colorado, folks. 

How many times do they have to tell us to leave wild animals alone? Well, more than they already have, apparently. Pictures have surfaced on social media of some guy in Frisco, Colorado, taking pictures of himself dangerously close to a moose.

Moose aren't friendly, lovable creatures. They can turn into psycho stomping machines pretty quickly. Coincidentally, the tendency to psycho stomp tends to correlate directly with how close a human gets to take a picture.

Now, the state of Colorado wants your help. If you know who this fool is in the picture, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

"It is very evident from the photo that the moose is angry, and the man could easily have been attacked and injured, or possibly killed," said District Wildlife Manager Elissa Slezak of Summit County. "You can clearly see that the moose's ears are pinned back and its hackles are raised."

If a moose attacks a person, regardless if its the person's fault or not, CPW will be forced to put the animal down. So, please leave the moose alone. This isn't just about you.
