This white-fronted goose knows a thing or two about self-defense.
You'd think a gosling would amount to easy pickings for a resourceful red fox. But then again, doubting the determination and fighting spirit of a white-fronted goose father might be a mistake.
The following footage was shot by Alaskan resident Jake Till, filmed in the fertile nesting grounds of Prudhoe Bay's North Slope.
As you're about to see, a goose family comes under attack by a hungry red fox, which summons up some expert blocking techniques from this determined father.
This clip shows you that even in the animal world, self-defense tactics come in handy.
