The time to check off boxes and prepare yourself and your gear for deer season (or any other general hunting season starting this fall) is now. But before the clock runs out, we've got some intel on a few hunting packs and gear bags that could become an integral part of your collection.
The packs are from INSIGHTS Hunting, and they cover just about any style favorited by the greater hunting population. If you're a bowhunter, an outfitter, or a sportsman junkie who does it all, these gear packs are going to give you some distinct advantages.
This is a purely new product line for 2018, so you can consider yourself ahead of the curve if you're carrying one of these out into the woods this season.
1. The Element
This is The Element, INSIGHTS Hunting's universal, all-bases-covered hunting day pack. It is a great example of INSIGHTS' TS3 System, which gives you three different ways of storing and using the pack when you're in the blind, up the tree, or setting up for a shot.
That translates to less fumbling, digging, and overall movement during the prime time of a hunt. That's probably the biggest benefit this pack's versatility provides.
There's a padded belt, molle system, and an attached hideaway rainfly. It's made of quiet, water resistant material, and accounts for nearly 1,900 cubic inches of space.
2. The Vision
Take a quick glance at this pack and it seems pretty unassuming, but The Vision has any and everything a bowhunter needs to carry their gear safely and easily.
There's room for your compound bow, quiver, arrows, optics, and electronics, with extra protection built in for your sight, arrow rest, and D-loop.
3. The Shift
The Shift has been already recognized on one of the best rifle carrier backpacks, thanks in big part to the innovative anchoring system. They didn't lose focus on other features, and even included a detachable TS3 System.
Crossbow hunters are finally going to be pleased with the well thought out pack INSIGHTS developed, because The Shift will work for them as well. The real beauty of the pack is its ease of transition between a gun and a crossbow.
4. The Traveler XL
If you're an outfitter or going on a trip, The Traveler XL is the bag you need. It's waterproof, holds 3,600 cubic inches, and has removable backpack straps.
Even though it's pretty big and holds a ton of gear with interior and exterior organization pockets, it's designed to fit within the majority of airline carry-on requirements. In other words, you can keep your gear with you on flights instead of crossing your fingers that it isn't damaged moving in and out of the cargo bay.
5. The Traveler XXL
If you need to go bigger, you can't find much better than Traveler XXL. It employs all the great features of the XL, but holds up to 6,750 cubic inches.
Molded rubber feet, comfort grip handles, and big, durable zippers round out the Traveler XXL, and it makes a great camping, fishing, or off-roading bag too.
