No amount of money will get most people to sell their dogs. Are you surprised?
YouTube personality BigDawsTV was in Chicago conducting a social experiment.
He approached random dog owners with a question: Could he buy their dog for $100,000?
Although he's a little hard to believe, (who would buy a dog for that kind of money with good intentions?) he proves that the love people have for their dogs is strong. Except for Bernie's owner...he seemed pretty quick to fall for the prank. But maybe he was pulling the host's leg (we can hope). Everyone else said absolutely not to the money pretty immediately, even walking away quickly and suspiciously.
Lots of YouTubers criticized the prank saying that BigDaws was a little creepy and the fact that anyone would carry $100k with them in a suitcase is hard to believe. But the message is clear: Dog people love their pups and nothing could come between them, even cold hard cash.
Can you imagine? Not only would you always have to live with the fact that you sold your dog for something as temporary as money, but you would be breaking your dog's heart too. Your abandoned pup would watch you walk away, holding a mysterious briefcase filled with... paper, while he forever lived with a stranger. He would never understand why he would never see you again.
I am tearing up just thinking about it.
The bonds people make with their dogs are unlike any other. Share if you agree.
