Cat lovers in Chicago, the city's first cat cafe has opened its doors.
This flagship cat cafe is located in the Tree House Humane Society's brand new, multi-million dollar shelter facility.
Located at 7225 N. Western Ave., the Tree House Humane Society is credited as being the largest cat-focused shelter in the state of Illinois.

The cat shelter and cat cafe celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on the 28th, followed by a public grand opening on Saturday, July 29, 2019.
While enjoying a hot or cold beverage, the public was invited to get to know the cafe cats, all of which are available for adoption through the new shelter.
Today, visitors and potential adopters need to make an appointment before their visit to the new facility, where cats roam the adoption floor and delicious coffee is served.
In addition to the cat cafe and adoption center, the brand new Tree House facility includes a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic, ensuring that all adoptable cats that come through the animal shelter doors receive the best care possible.
