Golden Retrievers are great at everything, right? Well, maybe not parallel parking, as this new Subaru commercial demonstrates.
Parallel parking? Well, let's just say it's the bane of my existence. When was the last time that you tried to parallel park under pressure with impatient family members in the car and waiting for you to just park already? Or worse, when you had to parallel park on a busy city street with other drivers honking at you to hurry up and get out of the way?
Well, Subaru understands, and they brilliantly represent the joys of parallel parking in this commercial featuring some seriously adorable Golden Retrievers. Turns out that cute dogs aren't any better at parallel parking the family Subaru than humans are, but that's okay. We still love them anyway.

This is just one in a series of Subaru commercials featuring Golden Retrievers, and we love that the car manufacturer is playing to dog lovers with this new angle. The commercials feature the closing line, "Dog Tested, Dog Approved," which definitely drives home this marketing angle to us pet lovers!
While your dog (hopefully!) won't be driving around your next vehicle, you should definitely take him into consideration when shopping for your next car. Think about your dog's size, how well he'll fit in the car, and how easily he can get into and out of the car. Consider your car's interior as well as there will likely be mud and dirt that you have to clean off the seats. For that reason, leather seats are better than cloth!
Some dogs also may need ramps or stairs to get in; is there an easy way to accommodate your dog's needs when it comes to your vehicle?
