2018 Toyota Camry, Several Lexus Models Recalled for Fire Risk

Over 21,000 Toyota Camry and Lexus vehicles are now subjects of a recall due to improperly connected fuel pipes and fuel hoses.

11,800 2018 Toyota Camrys have been recalled amidst the increased risk of a fire. The remaining 10,000 or so Lexus vehicles comprise of 2018 LC 500, 2015-2018 RC-F, and 2016-2018 GS-F models

If you smell fumes, Toyota recommends parking your car immediately. No reports of fires have yet to be made.

Toyota dealers will inspect fuel pipes and fuel hoses, free-of-charge to all customers, with a snail mail notification sent to owners and leasees by the end of March 2018.
