This Upside-Down Drivable Truck is Wild

Its license plate, FLIPOVR, couldn't have gone to better use.

If you've ever restored a car, you may have pictured how funny the body would look turned upside down.

Rural Illinois-based car mechanic Rick Sullivan has done exactly that, so you don't have to.

Built over the course of six months in Rick and his wife Kathy's small breakdown shop, Kathy's Collision Center, its inspiration was drawn from a flipped over truck in a snowstorm. Its components comprise of an (unnamed model year) Ford F-150 chassis and '91 Ford Ranger drivetrain.

In the video, Rick reports that the entire build cost him about $6,000, an incredible value for the attention it attracts. He says its picture is snapped 1,000 times a day, and it's not hard to see why.
