This Jeep community stepped up against intolerance and hate.
In Parchment, Mich. a bullied autistic teenager named Julian Martinez wanted nothing more than for his torment to end.
Little did he know, a community of Jeep enthusiasts heard his story, rallying together in an incredible way.
"Someone told him retards can't go to prom [and] can't get a date," said Korey Bradshaw, Julian's best friend.
Shortly after the vitriolic comments were made, Korey contacted Ricki Strasser of the Wicked Jeeps of West Michigan car club to turn it into an event. Strasser gathered a large group of highly modified Jeeps to parade through nearby Kalamazoo and park at a local muffler shop, where Bradshaw popped the question.
As word spread, local companies also donated hair products, corsages, boutonnieres, and even a custom suit for the upcoming prom date.
"They broke his phone, they've punched him in his stomach, they've called him horrible names and they've told him to commit suicide. You know, things like that. It's not okay to do that to anybody," said Strasser.
On prom night, Wicked Jeeps West plans to drive the couple to the ceremony.
