This boutique performance car builder hopes to join the 300-mph club with its all-new $1.6-million hypercar!
Hennessey has been on a tear with new products lately, and the Hennessey Venom F5 is the company's ultimate expression of performance. Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show last month, the Venom F5 drew instant attention with its jaw-dropping specs including an atmospheric top speed.
Looking to best cars like the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Agera, the Venom F5 is powered by a 7.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 cranking out 1,600 horsepower and 1,300 lb-ft of torque. With a curb weight of under 3,000 pounds, Hennessey Special Vehicles claims that Hennessey Venom F5 will break the 300-mph mark.
Helping the hypercar even more is its lightweight construction that mixes carbon fiber and aluminum. The sleek body has a drag coefficient of just 0.33 helping the low-slung coupe cut through the air with ease.
Considering its performance potential and its rivals, it's no surprise that each Venom F5 is priced at $1.6 million. Hennessey is limiting production to just 24 units, and 10 of which have already been claimed! If you want one, it looks like your reaction time with your check book needs to be about as fast as your right foot!
