Ford has issued an F-150 recall on roughly 9,000 F-Series, Expedition, and Navigator models with 3.5-liter GTDI V-6 engines due to faulty fuel pumps.
A new Ford F-150 recall, along with a recall on SUV models like the Expedition and Navigator, comes at a time when Ford is trying to right its production woes. The latest F-150 recall highlights a fuel pump issue as the high-pressure fuel pumps have poor welding, resulting in fatigue fractures that could cause an oil or fuel leak, presenting a fire hazard. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
This news comes on the heels of a slew of recall announcements so far this year. From Takata airbags to Kia, FCA recalling Jeep Wranglers to Honda Ridgeline (remember those?) getting a callback, we're wondering when it's going to slow down.

At the moment, dealers are replacing the high-pressure fuel pumps, discharge tubes, and other affected components free of charge.
