In this clip, watch a Mercedes-Benz E-Class totally own a simulated frontal crash test.
In what looks like straight out of a movie, several sensors equipped dummies of different sizes are wheeled out by technicians and carefully hook-dropped into vehicles in strategic positions.
With testing staff viewing from a glass-encased platform, the E-Class' left hood accelerates before it hits a boxed, steel structure, folding its hood like a cheap accordion.
In subsequent shots, the vehicle is shown at different angles, including its underside, which stays completely intact. Luckily, its rear seat dummies appear unscathed.
Job well done, Mercedes!
