Watch This Self-Healing Paint for Cars Do Its Thing

Sports car company Panoz is introducing self-healing paint by Feynlab on all of its future models.

The paint, called Self-Heal Plus coating, comprises a "memory polymer" that restores fine scratches or swirl marks after being exposed to high heat.

All that is needed is to swab the paint on and expose the applied area to temperatures above 140°F take effect.

Unfortunately, deep scratches cannot be repaired.

"We are extremely excited about our partnership with Panoz," said John Suerth, co-founder of Feynlab. "We share many of the same core values. We strive to continuously innovate and push the boundaries of what's possible, and we are obsessed with chasing perfection and refuse to settle for anything less."

With the pricing of some of its vehicles upwards of $159,000, the move to Feynlab is a no-brainer.
