All it took was a few hours on a Friday afternoon for a Texas man to rack up several charges in two states. All in a day's work of crime, I guess.
On September 20, 47-year-old Jeffrey Elmore stole a Polaris side-by-side ATV in Thackerville, Oklahoma, leading police on a three-county chase that eventually ended in Texas. Video of the incident shows Elmore pushing the four-seat ATV to about 70 MPH in the pouring rain, and coming pretty damn close to crashing head-on with a semi-truck.
As far as reckless joyriders go, this guy goes smack dab in the freakin' "Death Wish" category.

Thanks to a tip, police were able to eventually bring Elmore down.
Per KXII:
"We had officers in the area looking," Ingle said. "We were able to get behind and attempt to make a stop on it. He just looked back at them and went as fast as he could go to try to get away."
Ardmore police chased the side by side to the Carter County line where Love County sheriff's deputies took over the pursuit.
Speeds reached about 70 miles an hour.
"That's as fast as that particular unit will go," Ingle said. "So he had it going as fast as it would go, trying to get away."
When the chase crossed the Red River Bridge into Texas, a Cooke County deputy deployed stop sticks on the northbound service road near FM 1202.
Elmore turned west on Corporate Drive and drove through a field into a tree line where he was arrested.
In Texas, Elmore faces charges of evading arrest and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. As for his Oklahoma charges, he's looking at grand larceny and eluding.
