13 Extraordinarily Rare Airbnbs in Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is an incredibly special place. Its mystifying desert landscapes promise spiritual experiences for all those who visit, inherently having some of the best stargazing in southern California. Far from popular crowded cities such as Los Angeles and San Diego, the park sits in between the Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, surrounded by not only the desert town of Joshua Tree, but also Yucca Valley, Pioneertown, Twentynine Palms, and Palm Springs.

Visitors will find beautifully rugged rock formations, twisted Joshua trees, sandy grounds, and stunning views of the horizon, while also enjoying the vast amount of stars that shine in the night sky. I had the pleasure of staying in one of the fancier Airbnbs that Joshua Tree had to offer, with a big group who wanted a glamping experience. Our luxurious home for that weekend presented the most amazing desert views, while comfortably housing 17 people.

With that being said, if you're looking for a desert retreat getaway, here are 13 of some of the coolest and best Joshua Tree Airbnbs to check in to (mostly hosted by Superhosts!), while embracing your time off-grid.
