This old Bren Machine gun has quite a surprise.
This Chinese Bren Machine Gun is unlike any other Bren Machine Gun. It will fire 7.62x39mm cartridges.
We usually think of the Bren Machine Gun in .303 British or 8mm Mauser, right? Well, when Chinese Communists got their hands on 8mm Bren Machine Guns they converted them to 7.62x39mm. They will also accept AK-47 magazines. Pretty slick right? It is incredible the Bren will function with the lighter cartridge than it was originally chambered for.
