A Driver Hammered a Deer on a Bridge, and Then Tumbled Off Himself

An odd story led to a dead deer and a strange connection of events.

A couple were driving west on I-10 in Florida recently, when they suddenly hit a deer while crossing a bridge. The vehicle took some damages, and the deer was destroyed.

The couple thankfully didn't suffer from any injuries due to the collision.

However, the man stepped out of the vehicle, and somehow managed to fall over the bridge's railing. He fell somewhere between 20 to 25 feet.

Escambia Fire Rescue put forth a rescue mission. Off of the bridge, the rescue department used a ladder truck and some rope to retrieve the man. He was rushed to the hospital with multiple injuries.

The incident reportedly had I-10 westbound shutdown for over an hour.
