A deer went to the gym to work out... again.
Ah, winter. It's our favorite time of year for weird, out-of-place deer stories. This latest one comes to us out of Greenbrier, Tennessee.
A wayward buck somehow found his way into a local gym and then got locked in the women's restroom. The whole ordeal of removing the animal was caught on camera.
Believe it or not, this is at least the second time this winter a wayward buck has found its way into a gym. In late December a deer surprised patrons during their early morning workout in Anderson, South Carolina.
Fortunately, just as in the other case, the animal was released without further incident and the business wasn't negatively affected. It's good to see they had a sense of humor about the whole thing. Framing and hanging the busted-off antler? Brilliant.
This incident has me wondering if a gym business catering exclusively to deer might be a good idea.
